Unlike the famous pyramids of Egypt, the Greek pyramid is thought to have served a different purpose, possibly as a watchtowers or even as a tomb. The Pyramid of Ellinikon dates back to the late 4th millennium BC, making it a contemporary of the earliest pyramids in Egypt.
The Archaeological Museum of Argos houses an impressive collection of artifacts from the region, including pottery, sculptures, and inscriptions that span from the Mycenaean period to the Roman era.
